Simon Gidney, MBA, LLB, founded A Mind to Care LLC after meeting Scott Silknitter. Scott quit his job and moved back home after his father was diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson's disease. He saw the great strain placed on his mother as a result of caring for his father 24/7. Scott was driven to help others in similar circumstances, and developed and patented an Activity Therapy System. Unfortunately, due to his own health issues, Scott had to suspend its development
After many years in the Corporate world, originally in the UK and for the last 16 years in the US, Simon felt compelled to ensure that Scott's Activity Therapy System would reach those people who would benefit from it. With agreement from Scott, Simon launched A Mind to Care in order to relaunch the Activity Therapy System that Scott had pioneered.
Prior to founding A Mind to Care , Simon's corporate career encompassed Strategic and Operational Management with extensive International experience across multiple industry sectors,
