Dr. Fabrizio Amador

I was born in Los Angeles, California, raised in Miami, Florida, and lived in Ecuador for several years where I completed five years of dental school and received my DDS. I then moved back to the U.S. where I attended dental school again at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale and received my DMD degree. I guess you could say I have a “dual degree!”

Following school, I worked as an adjunct faculty member in the restorative department for Nova were I taught dental students. Teaching became one of my great passions during this time. I later completed an AEGD residency in Florida which is an Advanced Education in General Dentistry. This allowed me to further sharpen my skills as a dentist. I then decided to learn more about hospital settings and learn the latest surgical techniques. I moved to Dayton, Ohio and completed a GPR General Practice Residency which was done at Miami Valley Hospital in Ohio. There we treated patients who needed dental treatment but had medically complex situations. Later I worked as an associate for Town Care Dental for two years until I decided I wanted to learn how to place implants and I completed an internship at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. I was later awarded my DICOI in which grants me my diplomate status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. I was also blessed to have given a lecture on implant dentistry alongside the world-renowned Dr. Maurice Salama in Atlanta, Georgia.
