Founder and CEO
Howard Ullman was the Chief Executive Officer, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of CHDT from 2003 through April 20th 2007. Mr. Ullman remained as Chairman of the Board of The Company until 2011 when he sold his holdings to management, revenues at the time were $10,000,000+ and the company was profitable. Between 1984 and 2003 Mr. Ullman’s business was in the souvenir, gift and promotional products markets. He founded, operated and successfully sold (1) Magnet World, an overseas manufacturer of magnets in 1984; (2) Fason, an importer of magnets in 1996; and (3) Magnet Hut, a magnet retailer, in 2000. During 1984, Mr. Ullman moved American magnet technology to China to establish a successful joint venture manufacturing company in the Ghangzhou province of China that has sold more than 200 million magnets to more than 400 large volume buyers in over 75 countries. In 1997, he launched China Direct Trading Company to leverage his Far East supplier network and to broaden his product line into thousands of customized gift items. In 2003 China Direct Trading Company reverse merged into a public shell. In 2006 Mr. Ullman acquired Capstone Industries a specialty lighting company with under $1,500,000 in revenues and grew the combined companies to $10,000,000 in revenue by 2011 when he sold his ownership to management to start a new business in atmospheric water generation. Mr. Ullman earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics from Tulane University in 1982.
