After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Kansas, Lauren Cain interned on Capitol Hill with Congressman Tim Johnson before attending the University of Baltimore School of Law. She clerked for U.S. Claims Court before graduating cum laude. Lauren transitioned her practice in Texas to family law and estate planning. She has also defended clients accused of various misdemeanor offenses in Collin County, such as DWI.
Lauren has been through the divorce process herself and also has three children. She plays competitive tennis in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. She is a member of the Plano Bar Association, Frisco Bar Association, and the Collin, Denton and Dallas bar associations. She is also a former member of the Collin County Young Lawyers Association, and former board member of the Collin County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
