Burton Hughes was not born in Texas, but he got here as fast as he could! In all seriousness, Burton was born in Columbus, Ohio. Following high school, he attended college and while studying, began working for a large custom home builder, where he learned the “ins and outs” of the home building process.
Following his interest in home building, he obtained his real-estate license in 2005. Working with homeowners in both Ohio and then Florida looking to sell, buyers looking to make a purchase, and property appraisers, Burton developed a deeper understanding of what it takes to be a great roofing company: customer service and a quality product, both in terms of installation and materials.
Burton has a serious affinity for health and fitness. His dedication to Health/Wellness led to winning the Mr. Ohio Bodybuilding title in 2010 and then turning pro in 2011 which has transitioned to being featured on over 90+ book covers and several different fitness publications worldwide.
Burton joined the New View Roofing team in the summer of 2016. His experience in real estate and working with roofing companies in Ohio and Florida gave him the unique qualifications to establish himself as a Senior Project Manager for the family and veteran-owned New View Roofing Company, based in Dallas, Texas.
Today, Burton and his wife live in The Tribute community in The Colony. They take pride in giving their two children a Texas foundation and are enjoying raising their family in “The City by the Lake”.
