A resident of Orlando, Florida since 1992, Desmond Langton grew up in Trinidad, West Indies, and migrated to the US in 1968. For 25 years he was a native New Yorker where he owned several businesses in the transportation, auto repair and food industries. Also, he owned, managed and did general repairs and home maintenance on his multifamily home in Brooklyn, New York.
He relocated to Florida in 1992, and for a while before branching out into the Home Inspection industry in 1999 did remodeling-maintenance construction for the City of Orlando. He is a member in good standing of (InterNACHI) The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, (FABI) the Florida Association of Building Inspectors and is also Licensed by the State of Florida to perform home inspections. As a Home Inspector he is required to complete 24 hours of continuing education annually.
He has taken several commercial level courses in general home maintenance and equipment maintenance. Desmond Langton, home inspector has owned and operated Orlando Home Inspection Services since 1999.
