Our reading glasses online are made from CR39 ( 1,499 hard coating, 55 mm), this material provides excellent optics and vision correction. It allows the lenses to be both strong and thin. These non prescription reading glasses are compliant with International Standard: ISO 16034:2002 / Cor: 1:2006 with test reports produced by the Italian Certification of Optical Products: CERTOTTICA.
The Frame in these pocket reading glasses is made from a mono imprint mold for thermoplastic injection. The tinted thermoplastic is reinforced with fibreglass, produced by the Swiss manufacturer EMS. The overall effect is that the frames are not sensitive to sudden changes in temperature between hot and cold as is typical of metal reading glasses in the United Kingdom.
