Le Tote, Inc. (f/k/a Lord & Taylor) – Represented state revenue agency regarding disputed multi-million dollar claim.
Ascena Retail Group, Inc. (f/k/a Ann Taylor) – Represented landlords and securities class action lead
plaintiffs, which included an appeal of the confirmation order.
J. Crew Group, Inc. – Represented trade creditors and other claimants.
Pier 1 Imports, Inc. – Represented trade creditors and other claimants.
Gymboree Group, Inc. – Served as co-counsel to Gap, Inc. regarding the purchase of Gymboree’s Janie and Jack business.
Toys “R” Us, Inc., et al. – Served as special conflicts co-counsel to debtor’s parent company, Toys “R” Us, Inc.
Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. – Represented trade creditors and mechanics’ lien holders.
Health Diagnostic Laboratory, Inc. – Served as co-counsel for largest vendor in debtor’s reorganization efforts.
Patriot Coal Corporation – Represented trade creditors, including national leasing company, and dozens of former employees regarding wrongful termination claims.
James River Coal Company, Inc. – Represented trade creditors in defense of preference actions to recover, in one case, over a million dollars.
AMF Bowling Worldwide, Inc. – Represented two of the four members of the Unsecured Creditors Committee.
Canal Corporation (f/k/a Chesapeake Corporation) – Served as co-counsel for indenture trustee with unsecured claims of over $250 million.
LandAmerica 1031 Exchange Services, Inc. – Represented two of five plaintiffs selected to serve as lead cases to determine the rights of exchange customers.
Circuit City Stores, Inc. – Represented landlords and trade creditors in defense of preference actions to recover, in one case, over a million dollars.
Movie Gallery, Inc. (f/k/a Hollywood Video) – Served as co-counsel to debtors.
