Tammy grew up in the small rural town of Altamont Tennessee. Tammy's father founded Mountain Ornamental Nursery. With great knowledge in native and wild-type plants and trees, Roscoe Tate started a third generation nursery starting out with 8 acres and one greenhouse. Today, Tammy has grown this family-owned company from 2 workers to over 26 including many being member of her family do everything from digging to customer service work. We are a true hands-on business with all plants shipping from one location on Main Street in rural Tennessee. We do not use drop ship companies. All plants, whether grown here or elsewhere or perhaps even wild collected is brought to our warehouses, hand inspected for quality and shipped to your door.
