Dr. Amber James Ifill

Dr. James is originally from Los Angeles, California. She moved to Philadelphia, PA to attend the University of Pennsylvania. There, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Biology, Biological Basis of Behavior and Health Care Systems Management. It was during her time at Penn, that she realized her passion for health care and settled on pursuing a career in dentistry after shadowing dentists at the University of Pennsylvania faculty practice. She is proud to have earned a Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. While at Tufts, she was a member of the Student National Dental Association, American Association for Women Dentists, and Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. After dental school, she was accepted into a General Practice Residency program at Lutheran Medical Center Brooklyn Heights Campus (now NYU Langone Dental). The residency program allowed her the chance to gain advanced training in oral surgery, and enhance her clinical skills with more complex restorative cases and the treatment of medically compromised patients. She continued to practice in New York City before moving to Dallas in 2015.
