Mark has over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur and operations leader in the utility industry and has advised clients in all sectors, including investor-owned utilities, public power entities, independent power producers, and independent system operators throughout the United States and abroad. Throughout his career, he has held senior executive positions leading and building consulting organizations, particularly in the energy and utility sector. Most recently, he was Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at NERC where he oversaw the operations of the nation’s standards setting and compliance organization. Prior to NERC, Mark was a partner in Accenture’s Utilities organization. Prior to Accenture, he was Executive Vice President at Gestalt, LLC (acquired by Accenture) and co-founder and CEO of BDR, Inc, a global management consulting firm.
