Larry Wall was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. He graduated from East High and went to work for the telephone company as a central office installer. He then became a Teamster and worked his way through college at North Texas State where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in 1969. He was then awarded a scholarship to law school. He graduated from Southern Methodist School of Law in 1972. At law school his favorite activity was representing indigent clients in the Legal Aid Clinic. His entire professional career of over 42 years has been exclusively devoted to litigation.

His first job as a lawyer was as an Assistant District Attorney in Wichita, Kansas. He worked there from 1972 through 1974. During that time he was hand picked by Kansas Attorney General Vern Miller to prosecute several high profile arson and organized crime cases. He won all of the cases. Wall never lost a felony criminal jury trial and he was involved in over 40 felony jury trials.

In 1975 he was recruited by the second largest civil firm in Kansas. Wall quickly became a partner and was involved as lead counsel in several high profile pharmaceutical product liability lawsuits. During that time period he also defended pro bono a young man charged with first degree robbery. That case completely changed the law concerning eye witness identification in Kansas. Thereafter several other states also changed their laws. State v. Warren 230 Kan. 385. The Warren case secured new rights for criminal defendants The case was the subject of an full Annotation in American Law Reports. 32 ALR 4th 1070.

In 1985 Larry decided to open his own practice. His mission was to help injured victims obtain justice. In 1987 Mr. Wall purchased and renovated the historical Hayford Building at the Corner of Market and Second Street in downtown Wichita, Kansas. He designed the renovations and supervised the construction. When the Hayford was completed Wichita Mayor Robert “Bob” Knight issued a Certificate of Appreciation “Commending Larry Wall for preserving the historic nature of the structure and for enhancing the economic and housing conditions of the City of Wichita. The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places as a result of Mr. Wall’s efforts. It still functions as an active law office for several lawyers and ­keeping with tradition they are all trial lawyers.

Since 1985 Mr. Wall has been an active member of the Kansas Association of Justice and the American Association for Justice. He has been a member of the K.A.J. Board of Governors since 1985. Mr. Wall has been Chairman of the Medical Malpractice Section for many years. Since 1985, Mr. Wall has won over 40 million dollars for his clients. He has obtained a million dollar punitive damage verdict against a national shopping mall retailer. He has been referred clients from lawyers in Kansas and several other states.

In 2002 he was awarded the Consumer Champion Award from the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association for his advocacy in Maria Brower v. St. Francis Hospital. In the Brower case he obtained justice for a paralyzed child fourteen years after the injury occurred. Mr. Wall was requested to investigate the case based upon suspicions of fraud after Maria lost her malpractice trial. Mr. Wall with the help of a team of dedicated lawyers discovered evidence of fraud and secured substantial justice for her.

In 2012 he was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the Kansas Association for Justice for his tireless efforts to obtain justice for his clients and to protect others from a Haysville, KS physician, Dr. Stephen Schneider. As a result of the evidence he obtained Dr. Schneider was indicted by the U.S. Department of Justice and after a lengthy criminal trial Dr. Schneider was sentenced to over 30 years in prison.

In 2014 Larry Wall and Tina Huntington were selected by the Kansas Association for Justice as co­-recipients of the 2014 Consumer Champion Award. This was the first time in the history of the Association that the Award has been given to the same recipient twice. This award was for the actions of preserving the civil rights of mentally ill and disabled prisoners housed in the Sedgwick County Jail. The lawsuit exposed a culture of cruelty to those helpless individuals. It was highly publicized in local and national press and television. It resulted in the defeat of the current Sheriff and the institution of new policies and facilities for the safe and humane treatment of mentally ill and disabled prisoners.

Mr. Wall joined forces with Tina Huntington in January of 2011. They have worked closely together since 1996 when she was a college student. Today they represent victims of distracted and careless and reckless driving. They help victims of medical and nursing home malpractice. They help victims of serious personal injuries cause by defective products and machines. They accept victims of civil rights discrimination. They focus much of their practice representing the heirs of victims of wrongful death. They focus on trial matters involving serious and often catastrophic injuries.

Mr. Wall has lectured frequently to lawyers at local and state wide conventions and continuing legal education seminars. He has testified before the Kansas Senate on the review and oversight of the Kansas Board of Healing Arts. After his testimony was received the Chief Executive and the Disciplinary Counsel were forced to resign for their failure to properly and promptly discipline doctors in Kansas.
