As we pass the 2-month anniversary of Hurricane Harvey's devastating visit to Houston, two things are clear. First, the devastation Harvey left behind will remain with us for years. When the true scale of Harvey's destruction became apparent, the leadership team at Amazing Spaces decided to take matters further and ramped up donation efforts. Before any properties could be opened, the team collaborated and delivered as many goods as possible.

The property, located on FM 2978 and Research Forest Drive in The Woodlands, will feature approximately 103,000 square feet of exemplary storage and will be constructed under green-friendly building standards by Rowland Construction, LLC. Since 1947, impoverished children throughout the United States have been helped by the United States Marine Corps by their Toys for Tots Foundation. The mission of the USMC: bring joy into the lives of needy children during Christmas. Inspired by this cause, Amazing Spaces Storage Centers has participated as a drop off location for toys over the last seven years. Since 2008, locally Amazing Spaces has collected toys for this worthy endeavor at each of its self-storage properties in Houston. Amazing Spaces Storage Centers brought its annual challenge to raise money for the Shriners Hospital for Children to the communities of Spring, Houston, and The Woodlands Texas. The goal of this year's fundraising endeavor? To show how easily an individual can make a difference in a child's life. Since 2001, the Texas Self Storage Association has raised money for the Shriners Hospital for Children in Galveston in a fundraising campaign called "Starfish: Make a Difference". Local self-storage company, Amazing Spaces Storage Centers, has participated in this fundraising event for seven years. Over $600,000 has been raised for the Shriners Hospital for Children since the campaign's inauguration. Amazing Spaces takes pride in supporting this worthy event and is the only self-storage company based in Houston to contribute again this year.
