Facial rejuvenation procedures remain highly popular with patients, particularly those which provide facial rejuvenation quickly and with no downtime. However, not all products & procedures are available in countries around the world at the same time due to different approval & regulatory issues. This does however provide an excellent opportunity for cosmetic doctors & dermatologists to compare notes on what is working well, and to learn from the experience of doctors in different locations who have been using products for longer. An excellent example of this is the different products & procedures available in Canada compared with the USA. Facial Chemical Peels have seen a strong resurgence in popularity as patients seek out procedures which provide the facial rejuvenation they are looking for but without discomfort and downtime. Chemical peels have been available for many years but were often quite different from the ones being introduced recently, and indeed some older chemical peels are falling into disrepute. The newest chemical peels are following a trend for gentler products which are quick to use, and are applied regularly over a specific period of time, following a structured program.
