Goody Tickets Supports American Cancer Society's Shave to Save Auction

LogoThe annual 2015 Shave to Save Benefit and Auction fundraiser for the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge Kansas City Community was supported by a donation from Goody Tickets. The four Field Plaza tickets to a 2015 Royals game were donated to the 2015 Shave to Save auction by Goody Tickets to help raise funds for the event. Donations to the annual event directly benefit cancer patients and their families who stay at the Hope Lodge Kansas City Community.

Goody Tickets Supports Down Syndrome Guild with Multiple Donations

LogoThe non-profit Down Syndrome Guild of Kansas City received direct support from Goody Tickets multiple times in 2015. The non-profit received ticket donations to several events from Goody Tickets co-owner Heather Goodman. Currently serving more than 30 counties in the greater Kansas City area, the Down Syndrome Guild aides more than 1,300 people with Down syndrome.

Goody Tickets Contributes to American Cancer Society Cattle Baron's Ball

LogoThe American Cancer Society Cattle Baron's Ball was supported through a ticket donation from Goody Tickets last year. The June 13th Cattle Baron's Ball event was held for Kansas City's American Cancer Society and is the largest annual gala held for the society. At the western themed annual event, patrons bid on live and silent auction of items provided by Goody Tickets and other donors. Funds raised from the ball go directly to help achieve the American Cancer Society's mission, to eliminate cancer.

Goody Tickets Supports Trees Atlanta

LogoThe Trees Atlanta non-profit organization received a donation and support from Goody Tickets for the 2015 Trees Atlanta Root Ball. The 2nd annual Root Ball event was held to celebrate the 30th year of Trees Atlanta and featured a Tree Champion Awards Ceremony. At the event, a preview of new education programming was presented as well as the opening of the Trees Atlanta TreeHouse education center and other announcements covering upcoming tree planting projects.

Goody Tickets Supports Diabetes Dash for Life

LogoThe third annual Diabetes Dash For Life held in Leawood, KS on October 4, 2015 was supported by the help and generosity of Goody Tickets owner Heather Goodman. The upcoming fourth annual Diabetes Dash For Life will be held October 2, 2016. The event is held to raise funds for the Kansas City chapter of the JDRF. Donations and registration fees contribute directly to the JDRF's type 1 diabetes research.

Mid-America Youth Aviation Association Receives Donation from Goody Tickets

LogoGoody Tickets owner Heather Goodman contributed to the Kansas City Air Show Aviation Expo, held annually to benefit the Mid-America Youth Aviation Association (MAYAA). The August 2015 event featured the United States Navy Blue Angels Jet Team as well as other military and civilian performances. MAYAA's Kansas City aviation professionals and other supporters volunteer to produce the event each year. The Kansas City Aviation Expo and Airshow Facebook page announced May 9 that there will not be a 2016 show.

LogoGoody Tickets supports the Jewish Community Center's KC SuperStar event as a Vinyl Record Patron level sponsor. KC SuperStar is an annual singing competition in its 7th year of showcasing the talented youth from high-schools in the Kansas City metro and surrounding area. With sponsorship from Goody Tickets, the event is able to raise funds for the Jewish Community Center and present scholarship prizes for the first, second, third and fourth place winners.

Goody Tickets Gives Back to Hope House of Kansas City

LogoGoody Tickets has continued their support of the Hope House, Missouri's largest domestic violence shelter. The 2015 contributions from Goody Tickets helped make it possible for Hope House to provide shelter to clients, answer hotline calls, and provide support to clients in the municipal court system. In 2015 Hope House provided shelter to more than 1,100 survivors of domestic violence and answered more than 6,000 calls to their hotline.

Goody Tickets Helps University of Kansas Hillel

LogoGoody Tickets owners Jeff and Heather Goodman recently contributed to KU Hillel's 3rd Annual Women's Hoops Classic, a fundraiser for KU Hillel. The event which featured the University of Kansas Women's basketball team playing Iowa State took place at Allen Fieldhouse. Community members like Goody Tickets were able to purchase reserved tickets for the event, all proceeds benefiting KU Hillel.

Goody Tickets Owners Donate to American Heart Association

LogoGoody Tickets President Heather Goodman and CEO Jeff Goodman recently attended the 2016 Kansas City Heart and Stroke Ball. The 29th annual American Heart Association event held at the Kansas City Convention Center successful raised more than 1.2 million dollars from donations and auction sales, including $5,000 donated from Goody Tickets owners. The funds raised at the 2016 Kansas City Heart Ball are used for funding research, advocacy, and education to benefit the Kansas City metro area directly.
