Every year in December, ImageFIRST LA associates join up before the holidays to pay a visit to famous toymaker Mattel, purchasing gifts to give as donations to children in need. While the company traditionally dropped these presents off at a firehouse after each year's trip, associates decided it was time to do more. For Christmas of 2015, ImageFIRST LA, which provides scrubs, gowns, linens, and nurse uniforms in Long Beach, C A, and nearby areas, partnered with Victory Outreach to provide gifts to even more children in the area.

At ImageFIRST, clients are more than just a number, and ImageFIRST Customer Advocates and associates are more than simply employees. The company strives to go above and beyond providing remarkable healthcare laundry services to hospitals and outpatient facilities by providing customer outreach that goes beyond the pale as well, volunteering both time and funds to improve the communities in which they live and work. In one example of the company putting this ethos into practice, ImageFIRST LA service managers Anthony Davis and Charlie Cheatham recently visited several of a customer's locations in order to provide hot coffee and breakfast during busy LA TECH week.

Every year, the American Cancer Society holds a "Making Strides" Breast Cancer walk, with the aim of raising funds for breast cancer research. In the walks, individuals participate – usually in support or memory of an individual who has or had breast cancer – by raising money for their entry then walking a certain distance with others who have been affected by the disease. ImageFIRST encourages its associates to become involved in events such as fundraising walks, volunteer days, food drives and other charitable events, and is proud to announce that this year, ImageFIRST LA Service Manager Charlie Cheatham participated in the LA "Making Strides" walk in support of a friend and all other breast cancer survivors.

When it comes to providing for patient comfort at hospitals and outpatient facilities alike, it can often be the little touches that make the biggest difference. Details that make patients feel as if healthcare professionals are truly considering their needs can greatly increase overall satisfaction with the care they have received. With this idea in mind, ImageFIRST LA, a provider of healthcare laundry services serving LA and surrounding regions, has announced the launch of a cozy pink plush robe-style patient gown, a new addition to their Comfort Care line and a nod to Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Earlier this year, conservative challenges to the Affordable Care Act led to worries that, should these challenges be upheld in front of the Supreme Court, the entire law as presented by President Obama would be virtually destroyed. The financial aspect in question, which involved government subsidies for people who purchased their insurance in a marketplace "established by the state," was a necessary factor in ensuring the health of the Affordable Care Act. ImageFIRST LA, as a provider of healthcare laundry services, applauds the Supreme Court decision to allow insurance subsidies created by Obamacare to be offered in state and federal health care exchanges, as well as marketplaces. This ultimately means continued coverage for Americans everywhere.
