The Guardian, an online newspaper releasing news on world events, sport, business and more have published an article titled 'Celebrations across Canada mark country's 150th birthday'. The celebration marked the day in which Canada officially become a country after it was ruled by Britain till 1867. The article states that the prime minister, Justin Trudeau has led festivities in Ottawa with guests, these guests include members from U2 and even Prince Charles. The festivity which was a large outdoor celebration was in front of the national parliament were said to have featured, acrobats, fireworks and musicians.

The article is directed at people who either decide to move back to the UK, or are just moving there in general. The temporary sponsored parent visa will come into action on November 17th, with 15,000 visas available annually. The cost of these visas has not been announced as of yet, however it has been anticipated that they will cost between $5,000 and $10,000, depending on the length of time that foreign-born parents wish to stay in Australia.

It is thought that highly educated and talented immigrants could now choose to look for work in Toronto and Vancouver instead Silicon Valley, in efforts to be more welcomed and live happier. Not only this but it has been reported that a large number of U.S. tech companies have been sending inquiries to Canadian economic development authorities enquiring how they can move workers north of the border should they wish.
