Bruno Mars' "Just the Way You Are" topped LyricFind's weekly chart of Top 25 Lyrics across the LyricFind ecosystem, which includes Microsoft's Bing, Rhapsody, Lyrics.com, Slacker, Shazam, Virgin Media UK, Cox Radio, mSpot, and more than 1,000 other web sites and mobile applications that use LyricFind to offer lyrics in their music services. The LyricFind Charts are available to all LyricFind clients through the new API released today, as well as on the company's mobile applications, LyricFind Lite and LyricFind Pro for the iPhone, iPad, and Android platforms.

December 6, 2010 ¡V King & Ballow attorneys Daniel B. Moskowitz and Patrick W. Ogilvy represented Washington, D.C.-based music production company Hard Hitterz Productions in an agreement with Funky Noble Productions, Inc., a company owned by internationally acclaimed and Grammy Award-nominated hip hop artist Redman. The agreement clears the way for "Lift It Up," a song co-written and produced by Jonathan Robinson p/k/a J-ROB, a producer signed to Hard Hitterz, to be featured on Redman's upcoming album, "Reggie" scheduled to be released by Def Jam Recordings on December 7, 2010.

The U.K.'s ska/punk/rock master Mister Jack must have been very, very good this year or very, very naughty depending on Santa's preferences. His Christmas video, "Santa Is Comin'" climbed the YouTube Charts of the Most Watched Video rapidly. On December 1st, the video held the number one spot, becoming the frontrunner to other celebrated artists such as Nicki Minaj with "Fly" featuring Rihanna holding the number two spot and Justin Bieber's "Latin Girl" at number five. In fact, Mister Jack even overtook fellow U.K. celeb Cher Lloyd of the X Factor, whose video had been number one on November 30th, knocking her to number four.

Michael Gaines, based in LA, and half of the songwriting team MarilynMusic, spent a couple of weeks in late November at MarilynMusic's Manhattan studio, 'The Vertical Room', writing new songs with partner Casey Conrad. They wrote and produced three new tracks: "Chinatown," "If You're Leaving," and "Don't Be Afraid," all to be released in 2011.
