Nathan B. Zeder, who graduated in 1998, is an associate with Esslinger Wooten Maxwell Realtors (EWM). He received the Founders' Alumni Award, recognizing those who have demonstrated honor, courage and leadership, and who have helped to fulfill the vision of Palmer Trinity School's founders.

Thornton, now 22, drew from his own experiences from the journals he kept during his time in China while studying and competing in tennis. An earlier version of the novel was the manuscript for an independent study he did as a senior in high school.

As the winner of the Miami ZipOde project, Marissa was invited to read her poem at The Kampong tropical botanical garden in Coconut Grove as part of the O, Miami Poetry Festival.

The students presented their community initiatives to a diverse group of community members which included Miami-Dade Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava; John D. Fumagalli, president and CEO, Northern Trust/Florida; Caiti Pomerance, alumna, and founder of Debris Free Oceans and in-house counsel at Terranova Corporation; Laura Viveros, vice president and investment counselor, HSBC Private Bank; Adrianna Truby, academic dean, Palmer Trinity School; and Whitney Montgomery, executive director, North Carolina Outward Bound School.

"This course generates great enthusiasm in our students and for that reason I contacted Dr. Christian who graciously accepted to Skype with us. The conversation revolved around the future of humanity in our planetary system, the applications of modern technologies, and the possibilities of terraforming Mars," expressed Laura Massa, History and Humanities Department Chair.

Palmer Trinity School (PTS) senior, Blake Miller, was presented with the Mayor’s Shining Scholars’ The Emerging Leader Award at the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners’ meeting on April 19, 2016. The Emerging Leader Award recognizes students who have inspired positive change in others and the community.

Premios Copa Dorada is a sports awards luncheon created to honor the top Hispanic athletes in Miami-Dade County. This community-focused event, established in 1988, recognizes talented locals for their athletic achievements. Among the nominees are various levels of competitors from youth leagues to professional athletes, featured in categories including: Youth, High School, College, and Pros.

The 1-day research expedition departed from Crandon Marina on Key Biscayne and was filmed for season 3 of Xploration Awesome Planet, a nationally syndicated educational TV series hosted by Philippe Cousteau Jr., grandson of the legendary Jacques Cousteau.
