In fact, the establishment just had its grand opening the evening of November 20, where they served guests dinner, craft beers, cocktails, and also gave them the chance to enjoy their raw bar menu. Pennsylvania 6 DC Emerges Onto DC's Upscale Culinary Scene

An extension of the Pennsylvania 6 brand, the restaurant pays homage to Hotel Pennsylvania, the first social scene in Manhattan where entertainers and political players would come together over refined culinary dishes and hand-crafted cocktails. In helping to sustain the historical integrity of the original, Pennsylvania 6 DC's food and beverage program will be led by Sommelier and James Beard Award-winner Mark Slater and Culinary Director Brian Cooke. Owned by Chris Coco and designed by Washington, DC-based interior designer Maggie O'Neill from Swatchroom, Pennsylvania 6 DC is destined to be the next power spot to hit the District.

The establishment, which is set to open this fall, is the DC equivalent of its New York and Philadelphia counterparts, and is owned by Public House Investments. The restaurant can seat well over 200 guests, offers three spacious private party rooms and will have plenty to drink and eat.
