When Nancy Behan was given a book while helping her mother downsize to a retirement community apartment, the clippings stuffing its pages first appeared to be nothing more than scrap. However, closer inspection revealed hundreds of yellow newspaper clippings and the start of a project that is now being brought to readers around the world as ‘Poems by Author Unknown: An anthology of poems sent in to newspaper ca World War II’.
