Acoustic wave sensors are considered as a vital division of micro-electromechanical systems that works on the theory of modulating surface acoustic waves which senses the physical phenomenon. With the help of these sensors, electrical signal are converted into mechanical wave and during this conversion, the electrical signals are influenced by various physical activities. There are specific devices used for this mainly as filters, resonators, sensors, and actuators. Such kind of devices is very sensitive to the changes done in surface environment but efficiently work in liquid as well as gaseous environment. The sensors in these devices can be utilized in measuring various parameters namely liquid density, electrical conductivity, pressure, temperature, liquid viscosity, and others.
