Towards the end of 2016 The Countryside Alliance was investigating claims that HSBC had been discriminating against shooting businesses - denying them services for no particular reason. The investigation found that at least one business had been informed by HSBC that shooting as considered to be a "prohibited sport" and in line denied their services.

The charity event was held at The Royal Berkshire Shooting School (RBSS) where the Schofield's have been shooting for over ten years, and over 25 teams got involved, many of which included famous faces. Ant and Dec and Holly Willoughby were just a couple of the other celebrities at the event.

A survey has recently taken place which was directed at people who live and work in National Parks. Air gun owners in Scotland have until October 31st to ensure that they have applied the relevant licences – if this information is neglected, air weapon owners could risk a hefty fine or in some cases up to two years imprisonment.
