Chic is an American disco and R&B band that was formed in 1976 by guitarist Nile Rodgers and bassist Bernard Edwards. It is best-known for its commercially successful disco songs. Chic has been nominated for inclusion in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame five times.

Steve Miller Band is an American rock band formed in 1967 in San Francisco, California. The band is managed by Steve Miller on guitar and lead vocals. In 1965, Steve Miller and keyboardist Barry Goldberg founded the Goldberg-Miller Blues Band. Miller left the group to go to San Francisco where the psychedelic scene was flourishing.

Jean-Michel Andre Jarre is a French composer, performer and music producer. He is regarded as a pioneer in the electronic, synthpop, ambient and New Age genres, as well as an organiser of outdoor spectacles of his music which feature lights, laser displays and fireworks. Jarre has sold an estimated 80 million albums and singles. He was the first western musician to be allowed to perform in the People's Republic of China, and holds the world record for the largest ever audience at an outdoor event. He has three children, and is married to French actress Anne Parillaud.

Skunk Anansie (or SA) are a worldwide multi-platinum selling English rock band. Skunk Anansie formed in March 1994, disbanded in 2001 and reformed in 2009. Skunk Anansie are often grouped as part of a Britrock movement, running alongside Britpop. Example (b. 20 June 1982 as Elliot John Gleave) is a British singer and rapper currently signed to Data Records. Example's sung vocals employ stylistic elements similar to that of 1970s Blues music. After signing a deal in April 2006 with The Beats, Example put out a response to Lily Allen's No.1 hit "Smile" entitled "Vile" and received Radio 1 airplay from Zane Lowe, Jo Whiley and Chris Moyles.
