SarahBeth Hartlage

SarahBeth Hartlage is an authority in the healthcare industry and proved her expertise in the field. SarahBeth Hartlage founded the very renowned SarahBeth Hartlage Scholarship program, which is commendable. She is firm when it comes to the rescue of young, bright, and talented students facing great financial difficulties, as these candidates do not come from rich families. SarahBeth Hartlage was born and raised in North Alabama, where she was instilled with a strong love for science and football. She was a National Merit Scholar and was active in the fine arts and historical preservation in her hometown. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Alabama, where she won the school’s Presidential Scholarship – its highest award – among other honors. She also earned a Master of Science from Tulane University with a focus in Cell and Molecular Biology prior to matriculating at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. While in medical school, she earned the Alumni Scholarship and was an officer of both the Anesthesia Interest Group and the school’s chapter of the American Medical Women’s Association. She also competed for a scholarship sponsored by Dr. Pepper, winning the 2009 Throw For Dough contest, live on national television.
