Josef is a top 100 FinTech influencer, and global serial entrepreneur with 20 years of startup, business development, and digital marketing experience. He has a passion for disruptive ideas, unconventional thinking and a “screw it, let’s do it” attitude.
Born and raised in Austria, Josef worked and lived in Vienna, Sydney, Berlin, Zurich, and Panama before immigrating to the US in 2012 where he shortly after joined the booming crowdfunding industry and launched two startups in the space.
Josef is very involved in the crowdfunding ecosystem and has been a featured speaker at SXSW V2V, Social Media Week LA, Fundit USA, Metropole, #CFGE Crowdfund Global Expo, #Crowdfunding USA and Kickercon.
In 2015 founded Krowdster.co, the first do-it-yourself crowdfunding marketing and PR SaaS. Krowdster’s powerful tools enable crowdfunders to plan and run successful rewards and equity campaigns. Krowdster clients have raised millions of dollars on platforms including Kickstarter and Indiegogo.
