Auto Industry Adds Workers in Indiana; IndianapolisCrossing Finds 8,000 Jobs

Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show that Indiana’s auto industry added around 22,000 jobs, bringing the total number to 100,400. The industry’s lowest point came in June 2009 when there were only 78,700 workers in the state’s auto industry.

Indiana witnesses a fighting job market and has added more jobs than any other state in the US. Additionally, stimulus funds worth $1.2 billion are being delivered by the US government to the state to create more and more jobs. IndianapolisCrossing, the job board aggregator of all jobs in Indianapolis, is still consistently adding up jobs too, adding 2400+ jobs this week, according to the company executives.
