Calcium is one of the most abundantly available elements and is commonly in sedimentary rocks such as gypsum, dolomite and calcite. Calcium can also occur in igneous and metamorphic rocks, especially in silicate minerals including garnets, plagioclases, pyroxenes, and amphiboles.
