Gina Apicella is the Vice President of Autism Services at Chapel Haven Schleifer Center. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). She oversees both on-campus ASAT programming and Community Outreach Services (COS). Gina began at Chapel Haven in 2012 as a Student Advisor for the ASAT program.
Gina has been working in the human service field, helping adults achieve independence, since receiving her B.A. in psychology from Southern Connecticut State University in 2008. She received her M.S. in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Saint Joseph in 2017.
Gina has a special interest in behavioral interventions and pedagogy specific to adults with autism and how to make it most functional in applied settings, such as the workplace, independent living, and the community.
