In 2004, after leaving Scanad and a brief blip at Zen Communications (long story!), I started a small boutique agency specialising in print and design called Nvizions and this is my journey ... Having a few clients on hand, I then had an opportunity to work on a National Malaria Campaign with Pat Olvera and Sejal Vadher. With the success of that project, in 2009 for a period of only "1 year" (and let's see how it goes attitude) we decided to join forces and started what is now KhangaRue Media - a full service advertising agency disrupting the advertising world. In 2015, we got joined the global Omnicom network of companies as TBWA \ KhangaRue Media.

Our company ... KRM ... prides itself in producing local content - #TellingAfricanStories - in our core that's who we are ... Story Tellers. We are also the only agency that produces our own content - to tell these stories! We do not outsource our production: we have a full team of creatives, copy writers, script writers, art directors, graphic designers, editors (audio & video) that can execute a vast array of media.

Speaking of content making - we started our own initiative - Noa Ubongo - Sharpen your brain ... a free learning channel for East African Youth. We launched online and have since become the most popular Swahili learning channel for this age group.

This is where we are today ... #TellingAfricanStories #KhangaRueMedia
