Chic Teak

Basingstoke, United Kingdom (May 20, 2010) - Chic Teak, a leading UK supplier of high quality, sustainably sourced teak garden furniture and garden furniture sets, have recently attended shows and expos hosted by their charity partners to help raise awareness in the local area. When first starting their business selling high quality and affordable wood garden furniture, Chic Teak used to attend a vast number of shows to raise awareness of their brand and promote their furniture range. Though their rate of show attendance has dropped over the years, as measures such as online marketing have generated a lot of their business, they are still attending local events within the community and assisting local charities with donations and support. Thrive have long been helping the disabled to recover through garden-based therapies and activities, and Chic Teak spent a sunny 10 March at The Thrive Garden Project near Reading, also donating a number of teak garden chairs and benches to the garden. Chic Teak also support the Wellbeing Of Women charity (WOW) and attended their annual garden fair on 6 May. WOW does everything it can to fund vital research into women's health and quality of life issues, and Chic Teak were part of a sizeable turnout at Home Farm Barn, located at Farleigh Wallop. "We think it is vital to attend important festivals to show support for our friends and local charities," says Sarah Bowden of Chic Teak. "Thrive and Wellbeing Of Women are just two of the many local charities we support, and we were delighted to attend and be part of their wonderfully organised festivities. We were also proud to donate some furniture for the benefit of the charities, and look forward to seeing them again soon in the coming months."
