Didrick Medical Inc. is the first company that patented and released functional artificial fingers for finger amputees. They aim to create a device to replace missing fingers, controlled by the movement of the remaining portion of a finger and/or the movement of the hand when no finger is available. The idea of this jaw-dropping invention came from Daniel Didrick himself in 2000 while living in Naples. The X-Finger was showcased in the United States Patent and Trademark Museum as well as the National Inventors Hall of Fame. Overall, the entire company has invested millions of dollars into the development of the world’s finest artificial fingers.
