"Dinner" is a critically-acclaimed 7-minute short film written and directed by John Buchanan of Cocoa Beach, FL-based Lightning Bolt Films. The film is intended as an homage to Alfred Hitchcock and was inspired by the twisted adult short stories of the late British writer Roald Dahl. It tells the troublingly amusing tale of an older male predator who uses the seemingly innocent lure of a dinner invitation to prey on vulnerable young women. "Dinner," shot in August in Cocoa Beach, FL and completed in September, had its world premiere October 26 at the London City Film Festival.
