In 2012, ExtendMyStaff, Inc. set out on a mission to create a marketplace where consultants looking for flexible and challenging project work could meet companies needing help when employees were on leave, over-extended, or not able to take on incremental project-based work. During her more than 15 years as a human resource and talent acquisition leader, Founder Linda Blackmon saw many executives, hiring managers, and human resource professionals in both small start-up organizations and large companies struggling to navigate job boards, large social media sites, and staffing agencies to find talent. As a result of this experience, ExtendMyStaff was created to make it fast and easy for companies to fill their resource needs for project-based and part-time work, and for consultants to fill up their client list with profitable project-based work opportunities.
