Focus Health and Safety has the pleasure to announce his next Noise Course, which will be held on 31th July 2014 in Swindon and will last only one day. Since 2005, the company has focused on helping large or small organizations to minimize the risk of seriously harming their employees through exposure to loud environments and vibrating power tools. Focus Health and Safety provides both Noise and Vibration training courses to businesses in the United Kingdom, but the course held at the end of July targets only the Noise side. The course is named Noise at Work Guidance Training and represents an introduction to the protection of employees from industrial hearing damage and key issues of noise assessment and control. Noise at Work Guidance Training is a fully IOSH accredited course and the attending delegates who successfully complete the training and examination will better understand the noise terminology, sound behaviour and the hearing damage risks and consequences. Also, they will achieve the necessary skills for carrying out basic noise measurement. Delegates will be required to deal with the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005, which includes the assessment of noise risk, appropriate noise prevention methods and the presentation of a professional noise control action plan. The total cost of the course is £235.00+VAT, which includes course materials, lunch and refreshments. Tickets to the course can be already purchased through online booking.
