It is really unbelievable that sometimes all SEO’s are like novice in their field. It’s a very excited moment for a business owner or an individual while launching a website. But their excitement converts into discouragement very fast, when they discovered that they have acquired just a few or nil traffic. It is not difficult for you to ask your friends or family members to link to your new website, as they are your friends and family members they will quickly do it. Also you can choose Facebook, MySpace, twitter etc. Add a Blog to Your Domain Add a blog to your domain at least once daily is a good way to gain many internal links. Internal links from different pages of your website are the most efficient way in increasing rank in the search engines. You can also add images, videos, polls etc., this type of combination keep it natural, which is beneficial and entertaining as well. Local Organizations Every city in a country has its own local chamber of business. When you join this local chamber of your area you will definitely obtain a good link back to your website, also you can get networking with other local businesses. It would help you to create new advantages easily by coming in contact with other persons and businesses in your area. Local News Make relationships with local newspaper writers and give comments on news stories involving your company is the best way to generate awareness about your company and also obtaining links back to your website ( in case of online newspaper). Help a Non Profit Organization There must be many unprofitable organizations functioning in your city and state. These organizations can take your help in whatever field you have expertise, if you provide free services to them, they can ask for your services again, and in this way you can obtain link back to your website from them. Submit Your Site to Local & Industry Specific Online Business Directories Start submits your website to directories on the internet, and anyone related to SEO can find blog post about it. It’s really a beneficial link building strategy. However, before submitting to thousands of directories, find out local and specific online business directories and submit to these directories first. These are the most important links because they are relevant to your website and business. Social Book marking You must have heard about the social book marking, the best way of link building. But be aware in wasting too much time in submitting to the wrong websites. The special tip of book marking is that you should not only bookmark your website, blog posts and website related things but also many different things of your interest, this will look more natural to search engines and the viewers as well. Write an Article and Submit To Article Directories Write an article with full explanation of your company and deposit it to some article directories, and through this you will obtain links to your website by using author resource or bio box at the end of the article in correct way. It is also known as article marketing, the best way to get links back to your website. You should also tell something about you, when you add keyword rich text links back to your website. Write and Submit a Press Release An another method of link building is writing press release and submitting them to some places like PR Web or Web Wire, this method is comparatively difficult than other methods of link building. Writing a press release needs extra skills more than average person have. It needs some requirement that must be met, a type of format, also in some cases it should be extra interesting. Build a Hub Page or Squidoo Lens Another way of link building is not only beneficial but entertaining also. I have built many hubs and lenses so far for my own websites and for my clients as well. It is very important to keep in mind in building hub pages and Squidoo lenses that they have at least 450 words of content regarding some topics, pictures, videos, polls and other gadgets. You have to build the page as interesting as possible, so that it will be valuable for any one to read. From your hub page only two links to other websites and few links from your lenses are allowed. So, these are the ten link building strategies mentioned above. Building links are not that easy but for getting top ranks in search engines, it is most valuable.
