Insulated Wire designs and manufactures a wide range of electrical wire and cable products including coaxial cable (low loss/phase stable, handformable and semi-rigid), custom composites and cable assemblies. IW processes raw materials in house and manufactures all products using our proprietary method for laminating Teflon to create the cable core. We specialize in supporting high performance applications including cables used on land/sea/airborne defense platforms in EW, radar, and comms systems together with medical and test & measurement applications. IW has two facilities, Bayport NY for bulk cable manufacture and Ronkonkoma, NY, that produces assemblies, both AS9100 certified and supported by a worldwide network of representatives and agents.
