Kathleen Wade’s fascination with words led her to a career as a teacher in high school, college and beyond. For a decade, she served as Executive Director of Women Writing for (a) Change, a writing community for women and girls, where she also facilitated writing classes and workshops. She has conducted leadership programs for religious women, and her poems and essays have appeared in many anthologies. This is her first full-length work of fiction. She lives with her husband, Forrest Brandt, in Cincinnati.
