LUMINARY PUBLISHING, is an independent media company based in Kingston, New York that specializes in creating media that illuminates the Hudson Valley lifestyle. Luminary Publishing was launched in the summer of 1993 through its monthly magazine, Chronogram with the aim of nourishing and supporting the creative and cultural life of the Hudson Valley. Luminary Publishing later grew to include a quarterly shelter magazine, Upstate House, online relocator blog Upstater.com, and the recently acquired bi-annual Hudson Valley tourism publication Experience the Hudson Valley. Luminary Publishing has over 20 years of publishing experience, producing award-winning tourism and travel guides as well as marketing publications and content for clients including Health Quest, Hudson Valley Tourism, Dutchess County Tourism, Walkway over the Hudson, and HealthAlliance, among others.
