Mea from the word ???? [Thai me-ah] meaning an engaged or married woman, especially when considered in relation to her partner in formally recognized union of two people. This catchy name was proposed by my lovely husband as we were discussing brand names over lunch in our favorite cafe… we were looking for an empowering name that’s recognizable both in Thailand and Internationally and Mea was it. In Thailand when you have strong women who makes the house hold decisions as a girlfriend or a wife we cause her Khun Mea. Mea is a term of endearment in times of romance and a term of power in times of judgement.
