Math Nook got its start in 2008 when husband and wife duo Tommy and Jan Hall decided to help teachers and students across the country with fun, interactive games on their website. From its inception Math Nook has made a point of including a wide variety of games that encourage speed, accuracy, and proper memorization. From racing games to Christmas themed games to golf games, they have accrued a vast number of games over the years that are geared towards students in grades 1-8 and beyond. Jan’s background is in education, where she spent 30 years in various positions ranging from classroom teacher to math specialist. Tommy spends his free time utilizing his math degree and love of games to create some of the many fun math games found on the website.
