Established more than 30 years ago, the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine operates a main campus in Racine, Wisconsin, and a satellite campus in Chicago. The Midwest College of Oriental Medicine instructs more than 300 students. The school operates one of the longest-running acupuncture programs in the United States. The College presents students with a variety of degree options, including a Master Level Certification in Acupuncture and a combined degree program: A Bachelor of Science in Nutrition with a focus in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Master of Oriental Medicine. The institution serves as a founding member of the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and is affiliated with the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Maintaining a commitment to the health of community members, more than 25,000 acupuncture sessions were provided by the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine last year.
