US, 23 February 2024 - For many players, choosing which server to play on in FFXIV is one of the first big decisions they have to make. But that choice isn’t necessarily permanent. Thanks to the new data center travel system introduced in Patch 6.18, you can visit servers outside your home region for a limited time. However, some restrictions still apply. 1. Pester a friend In a Live Letter from the Producer stream earlier this year, director and producer Naoki Yoshida outlined how the new data center travel system would work in FFXIV. It went live in a patch with the release of FFXIV 6.18 on July 5. This update allows players to visit servers other than their home world without having to create a new character. It will open up the ability to play with friends and acquaintances from other Worlds, join cross-world linkshells, tour player housing, and much more! Currently, you can only make Gil by trading to other players or through the Market Board. This method is inefficient because it takes time to set up a sale, wait for a buyer, and fiddle with prices to avoid being undercut by other sellers. This time could be better spent doing Old Sharlayanleves, which are still the most efficient way to make gil in FFXIV. 2. Sell on MB Due to massive growth in the game, Final Fantasy XIV servers have become quite congested. The developer has implemented restrictions on character creation in order to reduce the wait time. This has made it difficult for players to choose their world and server. In a live Letter from the Producer, director and producer Naoki Yoshida introduced a system that will allow players to travel between data centers and world servers. This feature is scheduled to be implemented during maintenance for Patch 6.18, which will include the addition of four Worlds in Europe. To use this feature, players must first set their items to be sold on MB for 1 Gil. Then they can quickly log on their alt and buy the item. This avoids a 5% fee that would be lost if they sold at regular prices. This is one of the easiest ways to make gil in the game without leveling your crafting or gathering classes. 3. Through Free Company (FC) In a Live Letter from the Producer stream earlier this year, director and producer Naoki Yoshida outlined how the new data center travel system would work. The update came to pass with Patch 6.18, which launched on July 5, and it has a few steps you need to take in order to use the feature. The system allows players to visit servers and data centers that are outside their own region, letting them hang out with friends on different servers. You can play all of the content available to you while visiting a data center, and your character will be given a [Traveler] tag to indicate that fact. However, you won’t be able to use your FC buffs or retainers while visiting another data center, and PVP team chat and ranked Crystalline Conflict matches are also unavailable. Additionally, your private room (if you have one) will be demolished upon transferring to a different server/data center, and you won’t be able to reclaim it until 45 days pass. 4. Buy on MmoGah Many people play ff14 by making alts, which allows them to try out new roles and rolls. However, this can be a bit of a hassle when it comes to trades since you have to give items to your alts on your main and then wait for them to log in to their own accounts to get the goods. Fortunately, players can now move their characters between servers without paying a fee. Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida explained how this would work in a live Letter from the Producer stream earlier this year, and it was further detailed by the 6.18 patch notes. MmoGah is a well-known seller that offers game gold, items, and power leveling services for a number of popular games. The site has been around for more than a decade and boasts a solid reputation for fast, reliable service. It also offers a secure shopping experience and puts its customers first. However, it does have fewer options for buying game currencies than some of its competitors. Website : https://www.mmogah.com/
