P. D. Hartz Builders may be a new name to some but the owner, Phil Hartz, is anything but new to the Chicago area home building scene. For over 30 years, Phil worked alongside Founder, Donald, at Hartz Construction, which ranked as one of the top homebuilders in Chicago and nationwide. During his time at Hartz Construction, Phil was known for developing many progressive building communities known as PD Hartz community developments.
