The short underwater film, DIEGO'S DREAM, where a young diver named Diego dives with whale sharks, sea lions, parrotfish and a massive group of mobula rays, has earned Honorable Mention at the Blue Ocean Film Festival in Monterey, CA. Screening times for the Festival, held during September 24-30, 2012, will be available in the near future. In DIEGO'S DREAM, Diego dreams of his dives with sea life at Espiritu Santo Island located in the Sea of Cortez, Mexico. There is an amazing variety of sea life at Espiritu Santo Island but overfishing has reduced the abundance and many people are calling for increased protection. Diego shares his love for the sea life and his desire to help protect it for future generations. He asks,"But will it still be there in twenty years? I think that's up to us, we just need to open our eyes."
