5 time Karate/Kickboxing Champion Anthony “Amp” Elmore from Memphis, Tennessee met for a second time with South African Ambassador Ebrahim Rasool at the South African Embassy in Washington D.C. Elmore notes that this meeting was the historic breakthrough for Americans, Africans, African/Americans and all of humanity. Elmore has pursued the dream bringing Africans and African/Americans together for over the past two decades. Elmore proposed to the South African Ambassador that South Africa Honor African/Americans with a “Formal State Reception.” A formal State Reception is simply an invitation for African/Americans to formally visit Africa via a ”Cultural Pathway.” Elmore notes that there is no cultural pathway to connect Africans and Americans.

February is Black History Month. In 2009 scientist revealed “Ardi” the missing link of the world’s oldest human ancestor that proves evolution. Ardipitecus humankind earliest ancestor was found in Ethiopia. She is 4.4 million years old. This finding is the ultimate Black History. Black History is simply a human history prospective. The worlds most exciting Black history prospective is found in ancient India. India in ancient times was known as “Eastern Ethiopia.” The origins of the major world religions of Judaism, Islam, Christianity all came from ancient India. Black history is teaching about the Black Harappan culture and ruins found in India now called Pakistan. The Black Harappa and Mohenjo Daro civilizations were recently found to be 2000 years older than Ancient Egypt.

Elmore is convinced by his own life that the Nichiren Buddhist faith can help America and the African American community. Elmore notes that Japanese propagation methods in America borders racism and must change. In February of 2012 Elmore met at his home with Nichiren Shoshu Priest Shingi Iwaki Chief Priest of Myogyoji Temple in Chicago. Elmore begin his quest as a Nichiren Shoshu Buddhist in 1974. Buddhism is best known in America by another person born in Tennessee as Ana Mae Bullock who is world famous and later known as Tina Turner. Both Elmore and Tina Turner both began practicing Nichiren Shoshu Buddhism in 1974. Both Elmore and Tina Turner told their Buddhist stories in movies.

Kickbox Champ Scores Big Hit for His Safari Initiative

5 time World Heavyweight Kickboxing Champion Anthony “Amp” Elmore from Memphis, Tennessee could not get an “Act of Congress of Congress but he got his Congressman to act.” Elmore is represented in the 9th Congressional District in Memphis, Tennessee by Congressman Steve Cohen. Steve Cohen is the only White Congressman in America representing a majority African American District. Elmore asked Congressman Cohen to arrange a meeting with Kenya Ambassador Elkanah Odembo. Elmore drove 16 hours from Memphis, Tennessee to Washington D.C. to meet Ambassador Odembo at Congressman Cohen’s office Tuesday February 7, 2012. Congressman Cohen could not stay for the meeting in that he was in session and had to return to session to vote. Ambassador Odembo had to move to his next appointment. Elmore after driving 16 hours found himself sitting in a room with a United States Congressman and the Ambassador to the Republic of Kenya. Elmore felt like he was back in the Kickboxing ring in the 12th and final round like he had been knocked down behind on the judges score cards and the clock ticking away. African Culture, Family and History Might Offend Whites in Memphis, Tennessee

February is African American history month in America and 5 time World Superheavyweight Kickboxing Champion Anthony “Amp” Elmore released an 8 minute video on YouTube. Elmore is trying to get the attention of Memphis Mayor A.C. Wharton. Elmore understands very well that it is a false impression to believe that just because an African Americans are in public office they will fight for justice and equality for African American people as Dr. Martin Luther King. The video explains Memphis history and the cause and effect relationship regarding the conditions of Memphis, Tennessee and why Memphis was the Idea City where Dr. Martin Luther King was killed in 1968. Elmore notes Memphis was the largest plantation city in America and residues of the Plantation Mentality exist in Memphis today.

In 1882 the great Black educator Booker T. Washington founded Tuskegee University. The Tuskegee Airmen is the subject on the George Lucas hit movie “Red Tails.” In 1895 Booker T. Washington gave a famous speech known as the Atlanta compromise.
