The BBC have recently released a new blog stating that accountants are now facing tougher penalties if they help their clients bend the rules in order to gain them tax advantages. Currently it is only the clients which are facing penalties for tax avoidance, however the Treasury have now proposed that people who advise the clients to do so will also going forward be facing the same penalties.

Many people who are starting up a business prefer to manage their finances through their personal bank account, due to the hassle of creating another one. However, the HMRC has advised against this explaining that it's not as simple as it seems.
