Sitting all day and having a sedentary way of life are two reasons why people get bad posture. More so, sustained sitting at work or during leisure hours may have an impact on the health of the neck, spine and the entire body posture. In industrialized countries, 75% of work are being done while sitting. Thus, more emphasis should be given to occupational health and safety. However, at the given huge percentage of work being done while sitting, less emphasis was given to healthy sitting choices of employees. Health care professionals, chair designers or even the public rarely address this concern.
