To maximize the cuteness level of a dog, just add poodle. This is especially effective when the other parent dog is a retriever. The first poodle/retriever mix to gain attention was the labradoodle, which results from a pairing of a Labrador retriever and a poodle. Now, that has been taken up another level with the arrival of the goldendoodle. This hybrid is created by crossing a golden retriever with a poodle. A mini goldendoodle has similar parentage, but a miniature poodle is one of the parents.
