The stars will continue to shine on New Orleans this season. Broadway's Gavin Creel, Olivier Award Winning star "The Book of Mormon" and star of "She Loves Me" will perform on December 15 at 7:30 PM. Creel will perform with Sirius XM Radio host Seth Rudetsky at the piano prior to his return to Broadway where he will co-star with Bette Midler in the Broadway revival of "Hello Dolly!". He will be followed by Jinkx Monsoon, season 5 winner of RuPaul's "Drag Race," who will bring the smash hit show "The Vaudevillians" with cohort Major Scales on January 14, 2017 at 7:30 PM. Sutton Foster won the Tony Award for her leading roles in “Anything Goes” and “Thoroughly Modern Millie” and starred in the ABC Family TV series “Bunheads.” It has just been announced that she will return to Broadway this spring in a revival of the Jeanine Tesori and Brian Crawley's musical “Violet” for New York’s Roundabout Theatre...and will return to TV as the star of the new series “Younger” by “Sex and the City” creator Darren Starr. Audra McDonald, the five-time Tony Award winner and recent star of The Gershwin's "Porgy and Bess" on Broadway and TV’s "Private Practice," makes her New Orleans debut with two shows only on May 18 at 7:30 and 9:30. The Broadway @ NOCCA season closes with Megan Hilty, the star of NBC’s "Smash" (role of Ivy) and "Wicked" on Broadway, with one show only on June 1 at 7:30. Preceding them in the star-studded series this season were Patti LuPone in January and Sutton Foster in March, and Megan Mullally of "Will & Grace" in early April.
